Who are the three finalists?

Cruse Bereavement Support | Crossfire Trust | NOW Project

Three organisations in Northern Ireland have been shortlisted to the final of the 3rd round of the Boost Choose Now Change Lives community grant initiative and are in with a chance of receiving a stake of the £10k grant. It is now down to the public to cast your votes and decide which organisation should receive the winning share. All finalists will each receive some support from Boost.

Cruse B

Cruse Bereavement Support

Cruse Bereavement Support is a charity that has been providing life-changing bereavement support to people in Northern Ireland since 1984, predominantly through face to face and group support.

With the grant from Boost, Cruse Bereavement Support would train up new bereavement volunteers in using their person-centred approach. The volunteers are trained to navigate complex feelings associated with loss and identifying additional support networks.

Crossfire

Crossfire Trust

Crossfire Trust aim to build a peaceful and harmonised society and provide ongoing support to the people in need within the local community.

The grant would go towards Crossfire Trust's creation of a multi-purpose accessible garden with raised wooden beds and homes for hens. The project would encourage people from all walks of life to enjoy the garden looking to unite people from the historically divided traditions.

NOW

NOW Project

The NOW Group have been delivering services to people with learning disabilities, difficulties and autism from 2002.

With the grant, The NOW Project will provide virtual and in person health and wellbeing sessions to participants with learning disabilities & difficulties. These sessions will promote the importance of physical exercise and will be delivered by skilled instructors alongside support staff.
